JT Power Tools offers both free and premium features. Premium features require a license key, which you can purchase through Gumroad. Your license unlocks advanced functionality designed for power users and teams who want maximum productivity.

Purchasing a License

Step 1: Visit Gumroad

1. Go to Product Page
   Visit https://premium.jtpowertools.com
2. Review Pricing
   View current pricing and any available discounts
3. Complete Purchase
   Click "I want this!" and complete the checkout process

Step 2: Receive License Key

After purchase, you'll receive:

• Email confirmation from Gumroad
• Your unique license key
• Receipt for your records
• Access to updates and support

Activating Your License

First-Time Activation

1. Open Extension Popup
   Click the JT Power Tools icon in your Chrome toolbar
2. Navigate to License Section
   Scroll down to find the "License" section in the popup
3. Enter License Key
   Paste or type your license key from Gumroad
4. Click "Activate"
   Click the "Activate" button to verify your license
5. Confirmation
   You should see "License Active" message and premium features will unlock

Activation on Additional Devices

Your license can be used on multiple devices:

1. Install JT Power Tools on your other device
2. Follow the same activation steps
3. Enter the same license key
4. Activate - premium features unlock on that device too

License Verification

How Verification Works

When you activate your license:

1. Extension sends your license key to Gumroad's API
2. Gumroad verifies the key is valid and active
3. Response confirms license status
4. Extension stores verification locally
5. Premium features are unlocked

Privacy & Security

• Only License Key Transmitted - No personal data or JobTread information is sent
• Secure Connection - HTTPS encryption for all communications
• Gumroad Privacy - Gumroad's privacy policy applies: gumroad.com/privacy
• No Tracking - We don't track your usage or collect analytics

Managing Your License

Checking License Status

1. Open the JT Power Tools popup
2. Look at the License section
3. You'll see either "License Active" or "No License"
4. If active, premium features have a green checkmark

Deactivating License

To deactivate on a device you no longer use:

1. Open JT Power Tools popup on that device
2. Find "License" section
3. Click "Deactivate" or "Remove License" button
4. Confirm deactivation
5. Premium features will be disabled on that device

Reactivating License

If you need to reactivate:

1. Follow the same activation steps
2. Enter your original license key
3. Click "Activate"
4. Premium features restore immediately

Troubleshooting License Issues

License Key Not Working

Solution:

• Double-check you copied the entire key (no extra spaces)
• Verify you purchased from the correct Gumroad page
• Check if your payment was successful
• Try copying and pasting the key again
• Contact Gumroad support if payment issues

"Invalid License" Error

Solution:

• Ensure you're entering the license key, not order number
• Check for typos or missing characters
• Verify the license hasn't been refunded or disputed
• Try activating on a different browser to test

"Connection Error" During Activation

Solution:

• Check your internet connection
• Verify Gumroad.com is accessible (not blocked by firewall)
• Try again in a few minutes (could be temporary Gumroad issue)
• Check if corporate firewall is blocking api.gumroad.com

Premium Features Not Working After Activation

Solution:

• Verify you see "License Active" in popup
• Check that premium feature toggles are turned ON
• Refresh the JobTread page
• Try disabling and re-enabling the feature
• Deactivate and reactivate your license

License Shows Active But Features Locked

Solution:

• Close and reopen the extension popup
• Refresh the JobTread page
• Check browser console (F12) for errors
• Try clicking the premium feature toggle off and on
• Report the issue on GitHub with details

Refunds & Cancellations

Refund Policy

Refunds are handled through Gumroad according to their policies:

• Contact Gumroad support for refund requests
• Provide your order number and reason
• Gumroad will review and process eligible refunds

After Refund

If your purchase is refunded:

• Your license key will be invalidated
• Premium features will automatically lock
• Free features remain available
• You can repurchase anytime to regain access
